Myofascial release

Slow, sustained stretch of the fascia, the thin connective tissue around every muscle.

Fascia is the thin connective tissue that wraps every muscle. Myofascial release works on it with slow, sustained pressure and stretch, holding each place for a minute or more rather than gliding over it.

It feels different from a regular massage: fewer strokes, longer holds, and little movement. People often book it for stiffness that regular massage has not shifted.
